Modern Cloth Nappies

  • Canberra Environment Centre Crn Lennox Crossing & Lawson Crescent ACT, 2601 (map)

Modern cloth nappies have moved beyond the days of safety pins and terry towelling. Today modern cloth nappies are made in a range styles and materials to suit the needs of different budgets and bums. Not only are they easy to use, breathable and leak proof, they’re environmentally friendly too – helping you to avoid contributing to the 800 million disposable nappies that end up in Australian landfills each year.

This FREE workshop is for parents looking to find out more about using modern cloth nappies.

Evangeline Lam is a Canberra mum who uses her modern cloth nappies for her two children and runs her own blog, nilbarcodefood. Evangeline will be discussing the pros and cons of different styles and fabrics and washing systems that can work around busy lifestyles. You’ll also have an opportunity to test out different nappies at the Canberra Environment Centre’s cloth nappy display. Bubs welcome.
