Autumn Seed Swap

  • Canberra Environment Centre Lawson Crescent Acton, ACT, 2601 (map)

Need some seeds? Come along to our Autumn Seed Swap next week!! All welcome, kid friendly.

Even if you don't have seeds to swap, come along and grab some from our collection of (mostly) locally grown seed. Because this takes the place of our normal Seedy Saturdays, there will also be a table set up for seed cleaning, sorting and packing, if you're into that kind of thing!

You can:

Buy packets of seed including locally grown;

Swap your homegrown seeds with seeds from the community seed bank and seeds brought in by other growers;

Donate seeds to the community seed bank and get credit for future seeds;

Swapping and donating both work on a ‘spoon in, spoon out basis’;

If you are a NEW OR RENEWING member of CSS Coop, collect 3 free packets of seed (you can join CSS Coop on the day or join here)

This is a great way to meet us and other growers in the community, see the Environment Centre and its fabulous garden, and see what we have in the seed library!

We'd love you to come, drop in or stay for as long as you want (numbers permitting for social distancing), no RSVP necessary.

We are committed to running all our events in a COVID-aware manner, we provide masks and sanitiser for all attendees and ask that nobody attend if they have any symptoms
