In this online workshop, join Arian from Canberra Seed Savers to learn the basics of seed saving, including why you might want to save seeds and how to do so.
Saving seeds allows more diverse, interesting and resilient varieties of food to be grown. It means growing varieties that are adapted to Canberra, and it means saving time and resources when you don't have to buy seeds or seedlings every year. Seed saving is easy, fascinating and fun!
You will learn about how to save and store seed from vegetables and herbs, so you'll have a wide and resilient seed collection for years to come.
Topics include:
- Why save seeds
