Join local energy-efficiency enthusiast Jeff Knowles for advice and demonstrations of many easy, low-cost ways to save energy instantly.

Jeff will show you how to stop draughts and energy loss from windows, doors, vent, cracks and hot water pipes. He will outline what support is available to help you improve your home further.

If you have some cloth tape and bubble wrap handy, you can do some home improvements while you watch.

Jeff Knowles advises on sustainable homes and has been working in the field for the last 10 years. Twenty years ago he and his partner established a fully solar passive house in Jerrabomberra and they have drawn much experience from fine tuning it. Jeff is currently engaged by the Australian Energy Foundation to deliver rental home energy assessments for the ACT Government,  to help renters to make efficient and affordable changes to their homes.
