During this workshop, you will learn:
-The simplest and best way to ferment your own sauerkraut
-How you can easily ferment other seasonal vegetables
-How you can ferment your own condiments such as salsa and hot sauce

Your workshop facilitator:
Monique works in land restoration and enjoys teaching edible weed and fermentation workshops, and the CERES Permaculture Design Course on the side. With a background in everything from teaching adults English to teaching market gardening in Melbourne, Monique brings her irreverent and humorous style of facilitation to her workshops.

She has been teaching fermentation for more than five years, teaching everywhere from festivals, such as Confest, to regional towns, including Bairnsdale. Since starting her fermenting journey by making sauerkraut, Monique has fallen in love with fermenting and culturing foods.

Monique is interested in many other homesteading, permaculture, and survival skills which she sees as important for a low-carbon future, personal wellbeing, and reconnecting with the earth.
