Urban Foraging Walk

  • Blueberry and Eyre St Kingston, ACT 2604 (map)

Urban foraging

Susan Hutchinson is an avid forager and is keen to teach us how she does it.

In this walk Susan will show us how to identify and collect wild fennel, rosehip, wild brassicas and  other wild greens. This workshop offers a great opportunity to introduce more diversity and locally grown species into your diet.

Susan will also teach us how to use the various plants in both recipes and teas. Handouts with recipes provided.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, water and something to eat as there are limited facilities nearby.

Note: the workshop location is subject to change according to what is in season. Participants will be notified of any changes via email.
