Beginner Beekeeping in Canberra

  • Canberra Environment Centre Cnr Lennox Crossing and Lawson Crescent Acton ACT 2601 (map)

Bees are amazing – they pollinate plants, produce honey and live in intricate, complex communities. This short online workshop is perfect for people thinking about getting in to beekeeping, and for anyone who wants to know more about bees.

Although this workshop is focused on European Honey Bees, please bring along your questions about native bees as well – we love talking about Australia’s unique pollinators.

This is an online course, register via Eventbrite to receive the meeting link.

This workshop is part of Sustainability at Home, our series of virtual events and online resources to inspire and inform anyone and everyone about living sustainably at home.

Refund Policy: Please kindly note that tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to other workshops if notification is given at least 21 days prior to the workshop. Tickets are non-transferrable after this time. You are welcome to pass your ticket on to another person.
