In 2021, Canberra Environment Centre produced its first podcast, Local Environment Heroes, where we interviewed 20 local heroes who had some connection to Canberra and who were all doing amazing things for our environment.
This year, the CEC team is bringing the podcast back! We have a cracking line-up of superstars for Season 2 coming your way, mostly Canberra locals (but some from further afield) who are working to improve our world.
We are excited to share these interviews with you and we would love for you to join us at an official launch party at the Food Co-op on 15 June (6pm) where we will talk about who we have interviewed for this season (some will be at the event) and what we have learnt along the way.
We’re also going to be live interviewing Scotty Foster, a local environment hero who has worked for years to change the way we view our communities. Scotty will answer our five hero questions, the questions which we ask all of our guests at the end of each episode.
We look forward to seeing you at the launch party. Dinner and drinks (licensed, no BYO) will be available for purchase on the night.
