Creating a Vibrant, Biodiverse Verge Garden on your Very Own Street!

  • 1 McClymont Way ACT 2615 Australia (map)

You might have heard that planting dense, biodiverse gardens lowers the surrounding temperatures in the summer heat; well you heard right!

Come along for a workshop with Edwina Robinson, founder of The Climate Factory and Landscape architect, and learn how simple it is to adapt your nature strip for Canberra’s changing climate, whilst attracting pollinators, slowing down rainwater flow and bringing colour to your street!

Together we will plant a demonstration verge garden so you can get a hands-on experience of how it’s done!

With topics ranging from what plant species to choose for your area, to maintenance, you’ll walk away with the knowledge of how to create a vibrant, biodiverse verge garden on your very own street!

Please note that we will be walking a short distance in this workshop and that part of this workshop will be held outdoors. Please bring a hat and water bottle with you on the day.
