Are you looking for a fun, creative and sustainable activity for your kids to get into the Christmas spirit? Or wanting inspiration for gifts that you and your kids can make together?
The City Renewal Authority is pleased to partner with Canberra Environment Centre to teach participants how to make beautiful and sustainable gifts for loved ones.
Each workshop will run for around 40 minutes, where families and their friends can book a workshop table to learn, create and have fun together.
The workshop will be held on the lawns of the Dickson Baptist Church in two fun-filled sessions on Saturday 27 November.
The available session times are:
9:30am - 10:10am
10:30am - 11:10am
Each session time is allocated with a maximum of six tables per session, with six participants per table. Book a table for your family and friends.
The workshop activities include:
- Seed bombs: building mud pies that grow flowers
- DIY homemade cutlery sets: reuse, recycle, regift
- Furoshiki Wrap Activity: wrapping gifts with upcycled fabrics
Each workshop is completely FREE, with registration essential to manage participant numbers.
These events are proudly presented and funded by City Renewal Authority.
