Growing Tomatoes and Saving Their Seeds

Join us for a workshop all about growing tomatoes at home and saving their seeds.

This workshop, run by the Canberra Seed Savers will give you the skills and confidence to grow tasty tomatoes and save healthy seeds for future crops, at home in your backyard, or even on a balcony.

This workshop will cover:
-How tomatoes grow (and great varieties for your garden)
-Planting, caring for and protecting tomato seedlings
-Common pests, diseases and problems, and how to deal with them
-Selecting, saving and storing tomato seeds

This workshop has a pay-as-you-feel ticket price, which will help us continue running these events in future. Our suggested amount is $5 for students/unwaged, and $10 for waged.

If you are not in a position to donate the minimum amount of $1 via Eventbrite, please email us, and we will be happy to sign you up manually.

This workshop is free for Canberra Seed Savers members. If you are a member of the Canberra Seed Savers, please email garden@canberraenvironment.org with your name and the workshop title and date, and we will manually add you to the event.
