Growing Mushrooms at Home

Join Peter from Fungi Co to learn about the basics of fungal ecology, why fungi are an important part of our ecosystem and diets and the basics of growing edible mushrooms at home, including different growing methods and ongoing care. 

This workshop includes a practical session where you will get to prepare and take home your own oyster mushroom set up. 

Peter will be selling other mushroom kits on the day if you wish to purchase more varieties.

Price includes all materials.

Tickets are $70(+bf).

Accessibility:

Please note that in the event of community transmission of COVID-19 in the ACT region, the Canberra Environment Centre reserves the right to either adapt or cancel the event and refund all ticket-holders at our discretion.
