Boomerang Bags works to reduce the use of plastic bags by engaging local communities in the making of Boomerang Bags – community made using recycled materials, Boomerang Bags provide a free, fun, sustainable alternative to plastic bags.

Boomerang Bags Canberra run regular sewing bees at the Canberra Environment Centre to make recycled bags. For more information about volunteering and the sewing bee, we suggest you contact Boomerang Bags Canberra directly by joining their facebook group.
