Intro to Solar Panels and Batteries

  • Canberra Environment Centre cnr Lennox Crossing and Lawson Crescent Acton, ACT, 2601 Australia (map)

Have you been thinking of getting batteries and solar for your home? Maybe you want to upgrade your old system to take advantage of newer technology. There’s currently a rebate offered by the ACT Government for installing batteries under the NextGen Energy Storage program. Learn about how the rebate works, and whether batteries and solar are the right choice for you. There will also be plenty of time for questions.

This workshop is presented by the solar and battery geeks at Sunstak.

Please note that in the event of community transmission of COVID-19 in the ACT region the Canberra Environment Centre reserves the right to either adapt the workshop to online or cancel the event and refund all ticketholders at our discretion.

Please observe good hygiene and social distancing during this workshop and do not attend if you have been feeling unwell.

Accessibility: the Canberra Environment Centre has an accessibility ramp and spacious indoor area. The CEC has two regular sized toilet cubicles. For all accessibility enquiries please contact us 6248 0885 sustainability@canberraenvironment.org
