Femme, Trans, Women and Queer Cycle Jam

  • Canberra Environment Centre Lawson Crescent Acton, ACT, 2601 (map)

*Before you attend we hope that you will ask yourself if this event is for you and that you identify as a woman, femme, trans*, or queer. If not, please consider attending the Saturday Cycle Jam which is open to everyone*

A free bike repair event for FTWQ: femme, trans*, women and queer people, welcoming women of all kinds and anyone who may feel less comfortable in the male dominated realms of cycling and mechanics. This is a space for you to drop in and learn or practice bike repair skills.

FTWQ Cycle Jam is a drop-in style LGBTQIA+ inclusive event at the ReCylery. Everyone involved is welcome to learn, teach, and share skills about bicycle maintenance. People can bring their own bikes to work on or purchase a bike to work on. Wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

BYO snacks and water bottle.
