Got a broken household item? Don't despair, you can repair! 

What can I bring to Repair Cafe? 

There will definitely be glue and textile repairs, and we can generally help with jewelery, small appliances (these can be tested by an electrician for a small fee), wooden objects, bicycles and many other objects. We'll keep you posted via our facebook page when we know which repairers are available to volunteer. In the meantime, if you know what objects you would like help repairing or having any specific repairing skills you'd like to offer, email repaircooperativecanberra@gmail.com

This event is volunteer-run and self-sufficient, so if you have tools or materials you can use for your own repairs or share with others, do bring them along. We buy glue and other consumables with any donations from guests/volunteers and use donated or shared tools. 

Tea and coffee available by donation to Canberra Environment Centre and we love it if guests can bring along a snack to share from time to time.

We are extremely grateful to all the repairers and other volunteers who share their skills and time.
