Description

Everyone can be a green thumb, no matter where you live.

Join the Canberra Environment Centre and the Tenants’ Union ACT in this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn about gardening tips and tricks that’ll keep your landlord happy.

We’ll talk about a range of cheap and portable gardening ideas for your balcony/courtyard/backyard and ways to maximise your rental property’s potential. From setting up temporary garden beds to knowing what to grow, we've got you covered!


Refund Policy: Please kindly note that tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to other workshops if notification is given at least 21 days prior to the workshop. Tickets are non-transferrable after this time. You are welcome to pass your ticket on to another person.

Accessibility: This event will be held outside at the Acton Community Garden on slightly uneven ground. The Centre has an accessibility ramp and spacious indoor area.
