An effective compost system is the heart of every home garden. Composting is a biological process that decomposes organic material, turning it into fantastic soil and a perfect fertilizer for your garden. It’s a great way of turning your waste organic matter in a beautiful and nutritious addition to your soil. In this workshop the Canberra Environment Centre’s garden coordinator Quinn Stow will explain different composting methods such as bokashi, traditional composting bins and using compost inoculants to help you decide which methods suit your household’s needs.
